How does this theme apply to your civilization?
1. Demography and Disease
Most of the Egyptian empires and cities were located in Lower Egypt near the Nile River.
Just like Mesopotamia Egypt was spectactularly a prosperous society.
Nubia is more in the southern part of Egypt but it's just as prosperous as Mesopotamia.
2. Migration
Indo-European poeple who migrated to new lands and established communities.
The Bantu people had also migrated from their original homeland that was in West Africa.
These settlements that were being formed changed much in the sub-Saharin desert.
3. Patterns of Settlement
Most settlements were constructed near the Nile River.
The Egyptian and Nubian societies began appearing in the valley of the NIle.
4. Technology
Bronze weapons and bronze-tipped arrows were used by the Hyksos.
Wooden weapons and arrows with stone heads were used by the Egyptians.
The Nile River provided a transportation system for the Egyptians.
